The Mexican government has initiated significant infrastructure development through regional and national investment plans. Initially, the federal government presented progress on the ‘Plan Integral Zona Oriente’ (Integral Zone East Plan), allocating approximately 110 million pesos to the State of Mexico. In Morelos, a 335 million peso road distributor near the Autonomous University of the State of Morelos (UAEM) is expected to reduce travel times by up to 45 minutes. In Hidalgo, industrial and economic developments are also scaling up. The Cooperativa La Cruz Azul is investing 6.5 billion pesos to modernize its cement plant in Morelos, Tula de Allende and upgrade its local hospital, a move projected to generate 14,200 jobs. Additionally, the Zapotlán Economic Development Pole is set to receive over 16.6 10.1 billion pesos for strategic investments in Hidalgo. to foster high-specialization industries, including aerospace and pharmaceuticals.
