The Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) continued its nationwide rollout of 15th Ordinary Congresses through mid-September 2026. Following earlier sessions in Sivas, Manisa, Amasya, and various districts in Istanbul, Bursa, Kütahya, and Yozgat, the organizational process expanded to include Adıyaman, Edirne, Tekirdağ, Eskişehir, and Gümüşhane. In early September, the MHP held its 15th Ordinary Provincial Congress in Kırıkkale, where Deputy Halil Öztürk emphasized party unity and the ‘Turkish and Türkiye Century’ vision. In Gaziantep, Provincial Chairman Mehmet Sait Kılıç visited the Nizip Chamber of Commerce to discuss regional economic growth. On September 5, the party held its 15th Ordinary Provincial Congress in Adana, where Hakan Yıldırım was re-elected as Provincial Chairman. By September 8, organizational activities extended to Diyarbakır and İzmir. In Diyarbakır, newly elected Provincial Chairman Hasan Özcoşkun was welcomed by members following a meeting with General Chairman Devlet Bahçeli. In İzmir’s Karşıyaka district, the MHP inducted 500 new members, with Provincial Chairman Veysel Şahin stating that joining represents a commitment to the ‘survival of the state’ and prioritizing national interests over partisan politics. As congresses continued in provinces such as Aydın, Tokat, Balıkesir, and Eskişehir, party leadership increasingly focused on the ‘Terörsüz Türkiye’ (Terror-free Turkey) initiative. General Secretary İsmet Büyükataman and Deputy Chairman Mevlüt Karakaya described this initiative as a historic strategic move and a state policy essential for national security and social unity. During the 15th Zonguldak Provincial Congress on September 12, Orhan Korkmaz was re-elected as Provincial Chairman. The event included a memorial for fallen party members and was attended by MHP Deputy Chairman İlyas Topsakal alongside representatives from the AK Party and local municipal leaders. Following the congress, the Zonguldak provincial presidency began its new term with a board meeting led by Korkmaz to distribute duties, emphasizing a vision of ‘unity and brotherhood.’ In Van, the party held its 15th Ordinary Provincial Congress with current Chairman Salih Güngöralp running for re-election, a process described by Güngöralp as a turning point to strengthen regional organization.
