Microsoft enterprise AI and management expansion

Microsoft has introduced a suite of enterprise-focused AI and management tools. These include the Copilot AI layer, which is being integrated into Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, and GitHub to automate tasks and enhance workflows. The company is also emphasizing its Power Platform for low-code development and Azure AI services for building custom models.

In addition to AI, Microsoft is positioning its Intune service within the mobile device management landscape, highlighting its integration with Azure Active Directory for hybrid workforce security.

Following these developments, Manulife has entered a five-year agreement with Microsoft to accelerate its transition into an AI-powered organization. The partnership involves deploying Microsoft 365 Copilot to over 30,000 employees and implementing Microsoft Agent 365 to manage the governance and security of AI agents. Manulife will also utilize the Microsoft Frontier Suite to build and manage AI solutions via Azure and Microsoft Foundry, focusing on integrating responsible AI principles into its operations.
