Migrant integration programs in Mato Grosso do Sul

Overview

The State University of Mato Grosso do Sul (Uems) and the Social Work Foundation (Funsat) have launched the third edition of the ‘Uems Acolhe’ project. This initiative provides a 12-week Portuguese language course and socio-educational support to assist migrants with integration into Brazilian life. The program has previously served more than 300 participants across five municipalities in Mato Grosso do Sul.
