MiradorTEC technology hub development in Entre Ríos
Overview
MiradorTEC, a technology hub in Entre Ríos, Argentina, has completed its first year of operation. Originally a building intended for public offices, the facility has been repurposed to foster a knowledge economy ecosystem involving over 35 technology companies, five universities, and numerous research and development projects.
The initiative has contributed to a 10 percent increase in knowledge economy exports for the province. General Director Carlos Pallotti noted that the park is self-sustaining and operates without public budget funds.
Following these developments, Governor Rogelio Frigerio announced the launch of ‘Mirador Impulsa’, a project incubation and acceleration program focused on artificial intelligence and new technologies. Additionally, educational efforts have expanded to include artificial intelligence instruction for 3,000 primary school students and training for over 10,000 teachers.
