Miss South Africa 2026 pageant preparations

Overview

The Miss South Africa Organisation has announced the Top 12 finalists and the judging panel for the 2026 pageant, which is scheduled to take place on 14 November 2026 at the Sandton Convention Centre. The finalists will serve as ambassadors for the Empower Youth Africa (EYA) initiative, focusing on areas such as education, health, and entrepreneurship.

Among the announced judges is Dr Musa Mthombeni, a medical doctor and television personality. Following his appointment, Mthombeni has faced online scrutiny as past social media posts have resurfaced, leading to public debate regarding whether historical online activity should influence professional appointments in high-profile organizations.
