Missing Argentine citizens reports
Overview
Reports have emerged regarding several separate cases of missing Argentine citizens across different regions.
In late September, attention focused on two distinct incidents. In Italy, 42-year-old Nicolás Merlano had been missing since late June after reporting a robbery; Interpol issued a yellow alert to assist in his location. Concurrently, in Buenos Aires, 18-year-old Román Coronel was reported missing after $10,000 USD was taken from a family safe, though he was later located in good health at a hotel.
By early October, new investigations were launched within Argentina. In Salta, authorities deployed rural and aquatic police units to search the San Francisco and Colorado rivers for 33-year-old Franco Darío Solano. Additionally, in Mar del Plata, a search was initiated for 48-year-old psychologist Gonzalo García Saccone, who had stopped attending work prior to his disappearance.
