In Dak Lak province, a 6-year-old boy named Nguyen Gia K., who has developmental delays, was located safe on a mountain after being missing for nearly a day. He was found approximately 10km from his home, having been accompanied by his black dog, which reportedly stayed by his side throughout the night.

In a separate case, a 13-year-old boy named A Quoc returned home safely after walking nearly 100km over six days to find his mother. The journey took him from Quang Ngai to Da Nang through mountainous terrain and heavy rain. He was eventually located by police in Phuoc Nang commune and reunited with his sister.
