Moldova fiscal fine reporting changes

Overview

Starting October 1, unpaid contravention fines in Moldova will be automatically included in certificates regarding the existence of budget arrears. Minister of Finance Victoria Belous announced that these debts will now be recorded in the State Tax Service information system, whereas they previously did not appear in such certificates. Individuals and companies requesting these documents will see their total unpaid fine amounts indicated. Citizens can verify their fiscal status through various electronic services and government portals.
