Moroccan participation in female leadership summits

Overview

Morocco has been actively participating in international summits focused on female leadership and cross-regional cooperation.

In late August 2026, Morocco served as the guest of honor at the third Women, Innovation and Sustainability Summit (WISS LATAM) in Panama City. During the event, Morocco’s Ambassador to Panama, Bouchra Boudchich, highlighted the necessity of platforms that foster relations between Africa and Latin America. She also noted that while artificial intelligence is advancing rapidly, “the human element remains the primary driver of change and innovation.”

Additionally, the third edition of the Desert Women Summit Brasil is scheduled to take place in southern Morocco from September 1 to 10. Organized by Janaína Araújo, the summit will bring together Brazilian female leaders and executives to discuss leadership, career advancement, and financial autonomy.
