In Morocco, infrastructure spending is seeing further movement, including the relaunch of a 277.5 million dirham contract for stadium seating following an unsuccessful initial bidding process. Renovations are also progressing at the Agadir, Marrakech, and Fez stadiums, while work has commenced on a 6.6-hectare International Broadcasting Centre in Casablanca. The selection of the venue for the 2030 FIFA World Cup final remains a subject of intense competition. Morocco is promoting its Grand Stade Hassan II, while Spanish officials, including Rafael Louzan, president of the Royal Spanish Football Federation, are advocating for the final to remain on Spanish soil, citing venues such as the Santiago Bernabéu or Spotify Camp Nou. FIFA is expected to announce the venue for the final in 2028.
