Regarding the tournament's centerpiece, Fouzi Lekjaa, president of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation and Morocco's Minister Delegate for the Budget, has asserted that the Hassan II Grand Stadium in the Benslimane province will host the 2030 World Cup final. Lekjaa expressed confidence in the venue and noted a personal hope for a final match between Morocco and France.

FIFA has responded to these claims by stating that no official decision has been made regarding the final's venue, reiterating that the decision “will be taken in due course.” The governing body has previously dismissed reports suggesting the final was promised to Morocco, labeling such information as “false and misleading.” This has intensified competition for the hosting rights of the final match, with Spanish officials, including Spanish Football Federation president Rafael Louzán, advocating for venues such as the Santiago Bernabéu or Camp Nou in Spain.
