Regional data from Tangier showed a more specific monthly decline of 1.1% in July, driven by a 1.9% drop in food prices, including significant decreases in vegetables (-6.5%), fruits (-5.4%), and seafood (-2.1%). In Tangier, non-food products also saw a 0.4% monthly decrease, led by a 1.7% drop in transport costs.

Data from the High Commission for Planning indicates that while average prices were lower than the previous year, individual product prices may still vary. Economic observers are monitoring these developments as inflation remains a key indicator for production costs, consumption, investment, and national monetary policy.
