Moto3 championship competition

David Almansa has demonstrated strong performance in the Moto3 championship during the August 2026 racing period.

At the Silverstone Circuit, Almansa secured his second victory of the season, maintaining the lead through a competitive race. This event was marked by the absence of championship leader Maximo Quiles, who was sidelined due to a fractured clavicle.

Following the Silverstone Grand Prix, Almansa continued his momentum at the Aragon Grand Prix. During the first free practice (FP1) session at MotorLand Aragon, Almansa recorded the fastest time of 1'57.473. The session was highly competitive, with the top ten riders separated by less than 0.8 seconds. Brian Uriarte placed second despite a crash in the closing minutes, while Cormac Buchanan secured third. Maximo Quiles returned to competition at Aragon after recovering from his injury, finishing the FP1 session in 14th place.

During the qualifying session at MotorLand Aragón, Almansa secured a record-breaking pole position for the Moto3 Aragon Grand Prix. Racing for Liqui Moly Dynavolt Intact GP, he set a time of 1:56.347 on his first attempt, successfully fending off riders from the Aspar Team. Marco Morelli and championship leader Maximo Quiles followed closely behind in the qualifying standings. The session took place under high track temperatures, which reached up to 45 degrees Celsius.
