Motorcycle theft incidents in Indonesia
Overview
Police in different Indonesian regions have conducted operations to arrest suspects involved in motorcycle thefts.
In Sorong Kota, authorities arrested Marvin Daniello Nauw following a report of a theft on Jalan Madukoro KM 12. During a siege in the Klabala district, police recovered three motorcycles. The suspect reportedly attempted to resist and flee during the arrest.
In Tangerang Regency, the Metro Tangerang Kota Police arrested two recidivists, identified as AR and H, in the Babakan Asem area. The suspects are alleged to have been involved in at least seven thefts across Teluknaga, Benda, Sepatan, and Kalideres. Officers seized two motorcycles, several ‘T-shaped’ keys, and various documents. Investigators are currently working to identify additional victims who had not yet filed official reports.
