Motorway maintenance and disruptions in Europe

Overview

Roadwork and infrastructure maintenance projects have caused various disruptions across major motorways in Belgium and France.

In September, the E411 highway in Belgium experienced reduced traffic capacity due to a 2.5 million euro road surface renewal project between the Beez viaduct and Wierde. Simultaneously, the A8 motorway in France reported congestion near Nice following an accident near the Saint-Isidore toll plaza.
