Mozambique is intensifying efforts to bolster industrial capacity and infrastructure through foreign capital and sector-specific modernization. The government is seeking investment from the UAE to diversify the economy, while Cimentos de Moçambique invests $150 million in facility modernization. To prioritize domestic production, new 2027 regulations will require importers to verify national market availability. Energy infrastructure is a major focus.
