Overview

In Chimalhuacán, local authorities have focused on expanding municipal infrastructure to enhance public services and security. Mayor Xóchitl Flores Jiménez inaugurated the Region 5 Operations Base in the Luis Córdoba Reyes neighborhood, marking the municipality’s third such facility. This base is intended to facilitate faster emergency responses using modern technological tools and covers 20 neighborhoods across three sectors.

Following the security-focused expansion, the municipality also inaugurated a new administrative building. This 3,000 square meter facility, representing an investment of approximately 74.8 million pesos, was constructed in three stages to strengthen government operations and citizen service delivery.
