Music festivals and industry events in Taipei
Overview
In October 2026, Taipei hosted several music festivals and industry events designed to boost urban tourism and connect the local market with the broader Asian music scene.
Early in the month, the Autumn Out Music Festival integrated musical performances with local night market commerce in the Gongguan and Shida districts, featuring approximately 50 performance teams. This was followed by the Exit Music Festival at the Taipei Performing Arts Center, which utilized public transit rewards to encourage visits to the Shilin Night Market.
Later in the month, the focus shifted toward industry-scale events, including the third annual Taipei Music Expo (TMEX) and Jam Jam Asia (JJA). These events featured over 80 acts and industry forums at the Taipei Music Center. The month concluded with the announcement of Music Expo Live 2026, scheduled for late October at the Taipei Arena, featuring major Asian artists such as King & Prince and ATEEZ.
