Following the death of two-time Cup Series champion Kyle Busch on May 21 due to complications from sepsis and bacterial pneumonia, the NASCAR community has initiated several tributes to honor his career. As the scheduled celebration of life at Charlotte Motor Speedway approached, driver Ross Chastain noted that while the paddock remains in shock, various groups were providing assistance to Busch’s wife, Samantha, and their two children. Kurt described the aftermath brothers as “carbon copies” who shared a “heartbreaking reality” regarding unique connection on the challenge of raising their two children without him.
