Overview
The 32nd National First Aid Competition has begun in Skopje, organized by the Red Cross of Macedonia. Under the theme ‘First Aid in an Urban Environment,’ the event features 10 successful youth teams competing across 10 different city locations, including Macedonia Square and the Vardar river quay, to simulate emergency scenarios.
Said Saiti, General Secretary of the Red Cross of North Macedonia, stated a goal to ensure that by 2030, every home, workplace, and school has at least one person trained in first aid. Skopje Mayor Orce Gjorgjievski opened the event and pledged continued support for the organization.
