The 16th edition of the NaxosLegge festival is scheduled to run from September 10 to 18, centered on the theme festival, themed ‘Mythos. La sfida del pensiero mitico’. The event explores mitico’, continues its exploration of ancient myths and contemporary interpretations through various mediums, including literature, art, theater, and cinema. Key activities include the inauguration of the festival with a book presentation by Italian Minister of Culture Alessandro Giuli, titled ‘Venne la Magna Madre. I riti, il culto e l’azione di Cibele Romana’. The program also features a presentation by Giuseppe Conte at the Naxos Archaeological Park Museum and discussions regarding mediums. On September 11, the intersection of myth, politics, and poetry. The festival will present hosts the ‘Promotori ‘Premio Promotori della Cultura’ awards, named after Franz Riccobono, at Lido di Naxos in Giardini Naxos on September 11. The ceremony, led by Fulvia Toscano, recognizes Naxos. Dedicated to the memory of Franz Riccobono, the awards recognize excellence in sectors such as literature, poetry, art, theater, music, and cultural heritage management.
