Nazra Palestine Short Film Festival tour in Italy

Overview

The Nazra Palestine Short Film Festival is conducting a distributed tour across Italy to showcase contemporary Palestinian cinema. The festival utilizes an independent platform to highlight themes such as life in occupied territories, refugee camps, historical Palestine, and the diaspora.

Following an initial event in Naples on October 5, the festival scheduled a screening in Busto Arsizio for October 19 at the Sala Ali della Libertà. This event, organized by the Restare Umani network, included award-winning films and a discussion with director Ward Kayyal.

The tour continued with a scheduled screening on October 29 in Alghero at the Maria Carta school auditorium. Organized by the Alghero per Gaza group, this event featured four award-winning short films from the 2026 edition.
