The National Board of Examination in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) and the National Testing Agency (NTA) have established the timeline for the NEET PG 2026 postgraduate medical entrance exam. Following the announcement of the application period and the fixed exam date of August 30, 2026, the process moved into the logistics phase. On August 11, 12, 2026, the NBEMS scheduled released the release of exam city intimation slips to assist slips. Registered candidates with travel can download these slips via the official websites at natboard.edu.in or nbe.edu.in using their login credentials. The slips provide information regarding the allotted examination city, and accommodation planning. candidates will also receive notifications via their registered email addresses. It has been clarified that these slips are not admit cards; the official admit cards, containing specific center addresses and reporting times, are expected on August 27, 2026. Candidates are reminded to carry their hall tickets and a government-approved photo ID to the exam center. The 2026 exam format consists of 180 multiple-choice questions to be completed within 210 minutes. Under new regulations, candidates are required to select three state preferences during the application process to help allocate centers closer to their homes. The NEET PG remains the mandatory qualifying exam for MD, MS, and PG Diploma courses in India.
