NGO and community forums in Poland

Overview

In October 2026, several regional forums for non-governmental organizations (NGOs) were held across Poland to facilitate networking and discuss community development.

The Social Organizations Forum took place in Zakopane on October 10–11, focusing on the themes of “Volunteering. Community. Leadership. Strength.” The event provided a platform for NGOs, volunteer groups, and sports clubs to exchange experiences and participate in training regarding social services and regional cooperation.

Later in the month, two additional regional forums were conducted. In Ustrzyki Dolne, the V Bieszczady Forum of NGOs and Rural Housewives' Circles addressed volunteer recruitment, grant acquisition, and psychological resilience under the theme ‘Conscious Volunteer - Ordinary Person or Hero’. Simultaneously, the III Forum of NGOs in Kartuzy County focused on resident safety, civil defense, and the protection of critical infrastructure, while also exploring the use of artificial intelligence in the third sector.
