Noida International Airport development and operations
Overview
Noida International Airport is expanding its service capabilities through both technological partnerships and increased flight connectivity. In early October, the airport signed a Memorandum of Understanding with The ePlane Company to develop infrastructure and regulatory frameworks for electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) services, including air taxi and emergency ambulance transit.
By late October, the airport expanded its commercial network with the launch of daily direct flights to Udaipur via IndiGo. This addition follows the recent integration of Kolkata and Chandigarh into the airport’s schedule. As of late October, the airport serves 16 cities and manages approximately 32 to 34 daily aircraft movements. Authorities expect international flight operations to commence by the new year as construction on the international terminal nears completion.
