The 2026/27 season of North Macedonia’s First Football League opened in late July 2026 with a reduced lineup of ten clubs. The league format was altered to a ten-team, 36-round schedule, with each club playing five games per round. New entrant Shkëndija e Haraçinës qualified for the top division for the first time. Early fixtures saw Tikveš establish dominance with a 5-1 victory over Arsimi and a 5-0 win against Bashkimi.
