The government of Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas, continues to implement social development and student support initiatives. Building on its partnership with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the ‘CONECT4T al Futuro’ connectivity program, the administration has formalized a collaboration agreement with the Instituto Tecnológico de Nuevo Laredo to facilitate professional residencies and job placement. To expand digital access, the municipality launched ‘Conéctate al Futuro’, providing 10,000 students from institutions such as UTNL and the Universidad Pedagógica Nacional (UPN) with free SIM cards featuring 14 GB of monthly data, unlimited social media, and free calls and messages. Infrastructure and well-being efforts have also scaled. The administration has intervened in over 250 schools to construct classrooms, bathrooms, and roofs.
