Náutico is experiencing instability in the Campeonato Brasileiro Série B following a 3-0 defeat against Cuiabá at Arena Pantanal. The loss placed the team in 14th position with 38 points. In response to the poor performance, the club dismissed coaches Hélio and Guilherme dos Anjos. During their one-year and five-month tenure, the duo led the team to promotion from Série C to Série B and secured positions in the Copa do Brasil and Copa do Nordeste, recording 29 wins, 17 draws, and 20 losses in 66 matches. President Bruno Becker stated the dismissal was made with “security and conviction” due to the club’s current situation.
