The government of Oaxaca, under Governor Salomón Jara Cruz, has implemented social welfare distributions targeting women heads of household through various programs. In the Istmo de Tehuantepec region, the Tarjeta Margarita Maza program distributed 4,878,000 pesos to 813 women. In this region, the Margarita Maza card strategy benefited 610 women. The Tandas Mujer Primavera program provided microcredits to 543 women in amounts of 5,000 pesos and 67 women with expanded credits of 10,000 pesos. These credits feature zero percent interest and include a one-month grace period.
