Overview
Governor Salomón Jara Cruz of Oaxaca has initiated several infrastructure and development projects across different regions of the state.
In Santos Reyes Nopala, the Governor inaugurated a new hydraulic concrete road connecting the municipality to Santiago Cuixtla, a project costing over 15 million pesos. Alongside the roadway, a Community Development Center was delivered in Cerro de Aire to support local youth and vulnerable groups.
In the Sierra de Juárez region, efforts have shifted toward cultural heritage and education. This includes the completion of a 3.3 million peso restoration of the 18th-century San Melchor Betaza temple. Furthermore, the administration has allocated 12.5 million pesos for the construction of a community musical baccalaureate campus and announced future plans to establish a university in San Melchor Betaza.
