Oktoberfest celebrations in Spain and Colombia

Overview

Oktoberfest-themed events have been organized across various regions. In Torre del Mar, Spain, the festival was scheduled for October 10 and 11 at Avenida Toré Toré, featuring live music, dancing, and tributes to various musical groups. The Vélez-Málaga City Council aimed to use the event to stimulate local commerce and tourism outside the summer season.

Other celebrations include the Winner Group in Colombia, which integrated the festival into casinos and 34 Gato Pardo restaurants across more than 20 cities, such as Bogotá and Medellín. In Spain, La Carlota held a ‘German Fest’ on October 16 and 17 to honor Central European settlers, while Torrox held celebrations through October 18 to mark 50 years of cultural and demographic ties with Germany.
