Ontario local developments and community events

In late July, Ontario announced a series of major local projects: Costco Canada confirmed a $37 million, 167,000‑square‑foot warehouse and gas bar in Belleville; the Ontario Arts Council granted the Stratford Festival over C$2 million to support jobs and tourism; Kincardine approved a 24‑hour Community Safety Zone near a local school; and the World Congress of Business History was launched in Toronto with TSX involvement.
