OPPO and Manus agentic AI integration
Overview
OPPO has announced a partnership with the AI agent platform Manus to integrate agentic AI capabilities into its upcoming Find X10 smartphone series. This technology will power a new ‘Agent Mode’ within the AI Mind Pilot assistant, which is set to debut on the ColorOS 17 operating system.
Moving beyond standard conversational chatbots, the system is designed to execute multi-step workflows by interpreting complex user goals, decomposing them into actionable steps, and selecting appropriate tools to complete tasks like generating presentations or travel itineraries. The assistant can interact with local files and photos to deliver finished results.
To manage privacy, OPPO stated that local tasks will be processed strictly on-device. Any tasks requiring cloud-based processing will require explicit user permission before data is shared. The Find X10 series is scheduled for a global presentation on October 21.
