Osmangazi Municipality child development initiatives

Overview

Osmangazi Municipality has implemented educational initiatives focused on early childhood development and family support.

In early September, the municipality conducted a four-day in-service training program for nursery and daycare teachers at the Osmangazi Show Center. The seminars addressed modern preschool education approaches, including social-emotional learning and the connection between play and nature.

Following this, the municipality launched the ‘Parent School’ project in partnership with the Bursa Family Counselors and Training Association (BURADDER). This initiative, guided by the principle of ‘Strong Family, Healthy Society,’ provides interactive training for parents. Initial sessions have focused on child development and how parental attitudes and personal upbringing influence modern parenting styles.
