Pakistan anti-narcotics enforcement operations
Overview
The Pakistan Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) conducted eight intelligence-based operations across the country, resulting in the arrest of ten suspects, including one woman. During these raids, officials seized over 31.3 kg of narcotics valued at more than Rs 3.5 million.
Seizures included 2.4 kg of hashish in Attock, 938 g of crystal methamphetamine at Islamabad International Airport, and 13.5 kg of Valium tablets in Karachi. Additional amounts of hashish were recovered in Jamshoro and Gujrat, while a parcel from the Netherlands yielded MDMA and a prohibited powder in Rawalpindi. All suspects face charges under the Control of Narcotic Substances Act, 1997.
