The National disaster authorities later reported that the monsoon’s cumulative impact between 19 July and 26 July had raised the overall death toll to at least 108 across Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, with 344 people injured. In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 32 deaths and 35 injuries were linked to roof collapses, flash floods and drownings, while Punjab faced widespread flooding of nearly 400 sq km, rising river levels and dozens of homes damaged or swept away.
