Palacký University operations and services

Palacký University has addressed institutional planning and student welfare. The Faculty of Education approved a 2026 budget totaling approximately 259 million CZK, which is nearly six million CZK higher than the previous year. This budget includes 35 million CZK for a program to increase capacity in teaching, special education, and psychology programs through 2037. While the faculty is managing the reconstruction of its main building, the planned purchase of a building on Kollárova náměstí is unlikely to proceed, necessitating alternative expansion options.

In addition to administrative and financial developments, the university provides various student support services. These include psychological and psychotherapeutic counseling via the Poradenství UP portal, academic assistance through study departments, and specialized support for students with disabilities or chronic illnesses. The university also offers career planning through its Career Center and peer support through the Student Club to assist with integration in Olomouc.
