Ibrahim Ibrahim, coordinator of the Palestinian National Committee in Germany, emphasized that elections must be a “genuine democratic right” rather than a tool for factional dominance. He stressed that the PNC should represent the entire population, including the millions in the diaspora living in Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, Europe, and the Americas. The youth sector of the Palestinian Civil Society Organizations Network has declared the elections a “constitutional and national necessity.”
