Parental support programs in Poland

Overview

In Poland, various local initiatives have been established to provide free support and workshops for parents and caregivers focusing on child development and mental health.

In Poznań, the Przy Tobie Foundation and the City of Poznań launched a program at the Family Initiatives Center to address developmental challenges for children from infancy through age 18. The initiative covers mental health, psychological resilience, and managing difficult behaviors. It also includes guidance on ‘cyber-parenting’ to navigate internet safety and sessions regarding the neurobiological changes of puberty.

In Płock, the Fundacja Fundusz Grantowy dla Płocka is funding workshops titled ‘Conscious Parent – Autism in Practice’ scheduled for October 3. These sessions aim to strengthen parent-child relationships through neurodevelopmental knowledge and will address the impact of diet and supplementation on gut health and the immune system for children on the autism spectrum.
