País para Todos municipal election results in Peru

Overview

Following the 2026 municipal elections in the Lauricocha province, the País para Todos party secured several victories. The National Office of Electoral Processes (ONPE) reported that the party won mayoralties in the provincial capital of Jesús, as well as in the districts of Baños, Jivia, Rondos, and San Francisco de Asís.

Subsequent to these results, the party announced an appeal against a resolution by the Special Electoral Jury (JEE) of Huamalíes. Legal representative Ricardo Pastrana Salinas alleged that the JEE made “technical errors and omissions” regarding a disputed polling station in the Miraflores district. While seeking the annulment of contested records in Huamalíes, País para Todos opted to accept the election results for the Leoncio Prado Provincial Municipality to maintain legal stability. Additionally, the National Jury of Elections (JNE) ordered a recount of a specific electoral record in the Chuquis District Municipality.
