Persib Bandung stadium relocation

Overview

Persib Bandung is managing a demanding October 2026 schedule across the BRI Super League, AFC Champions League Two, and the ASEAN Club Championship (Shopee Cup). To maintain physical stability and performance during this period, the club is utilizing its full 27-man squad.

As part of the Shopee Cup campaign, the team is scheduled to travel to Thailand to face Port FC at Thammasat Stadium on October 8. Following their participation in the FIFA ASEAN Cup, players Ragnar Oratmangoen and Thom Haye are expected to join the squad in Thailand.

Regarding venue logistics, the club has confirmed the temporary relocation of its home matches for October due to necessary pitch maintenance and sub-optimal grass conditions at Gelora Bandung Lautan Api (GBLA). Persib will host three matches at Si Jalak Harupat Stadium in Bandung Regency: two BRI Super League fixtures and one AFC Champions League Two match. Management intends to return to GBLA in November 2026, subject to further field evaluations.
