Personal updates among Czech celebrities

Overview

Various Czech actors and public figures have shared updates regarding their personal lives, professional milestones, and relationship histories.

Actor Ondřej Brzobohatý reported weight loss for his role in ‘Lady Dermacol’, while Karel Zima was noted for his marriage to Lucie Zimová. Recent weddings include David Prachař to Sarah Haváčová and Hynek Čermák to engineer Veronika Šmídová. More recently, fencer Alexander Choupenitch and swimmer Barbora Seemanová announced their marriage via social media.

Reflections on long-term stability and family dynamics have been shared by several figures. Eva Čížkovská celebrated 35 years of marriage to Marek Jelínek, citing mutual respect as a key factor. Václav Svoboda discussed his 2021 marriage to Lenka, noting he raised her three children as his own after two decades together.

Other celebrities have addressed the complexities of their pasts. Singer Martin Chodúr recalled meeting partner Ivona Selníková following his win on Czechoslovak SuperStar; despite public scrutiny regarding their age difference and her marital status at the time, the couple is now raising a son. Additionally, Ivana Chýlková and Jan Kraus reflected on their history, noting they met during the 1994 filming of ‘Trio’ while both were in other relationships.

Actor Vladimír Polívka revealed a long-standing admiration for actress Eva Podzimková, noting that working together on the film ‘Po večerce’ fulfilled a ‘student dream’. Podzimková, who is married to Matěj Podzimek, expressed surprise at the news. Meanwhile, Zdeněk Polívka and singer Lucie Vondráčková addressed their separation; while Polívka announced the breakup in December 2025, Vondráčková clarified that the couple had been separated for six months prior to that announcement.

In other personal developments, chef Radek Kašpárek made his first official appearance as a couple with Ivana, a woman from Brno, at an event in Prague.
