The Pet Shop Boys ~~have~~ released their ~~new~~ conceptual album, ‘A Man From The Future’, on 9 October 2026 via Parlophone Records. The eight-track project serves as a musical tribute to the life and legacy of British mathematician and codebreaker Alan Turing. While the duo originally performed versions of this work at the Royal Albert Hall in 2014, this release features revised arrangements with a stronger emphasis on electronic sounds. The production, captured in the UK and Germany, features a blend of electronic music and orchestral arrangements by Sven Helbig, performed by the Manchester Camerata Octet, with spoken-word narration by actress Juliet Stevenson.
