Philip Morris Italia and Coldiretti recently marked the 15th anniversary of their tobacco supply chain agreements in Naples. This partnership, supported by a Memorandum of Understanding with the Ministry of Agriculture, accounts for more than 50% of annual tobacco production in the Campania region. In the Sannio area alone, the agreement involves approximately 300 companies and 1,000 workers, generating 7.5 million euros in value. On a regional scale, the activity generates an estimated 24.8 million euros in annual added value and supports over 10,000 jobs. Following the milestone, Philip Morris announced the extension of these agreements until 2035, with planned investments reaching up to one billion euros.
