Plaza Premium Group airport service expansion
Overview
Plaza Premium Group is expanding its airport hospitality services across Asia and South America. In Hong Kong, the group announced plans to expand services at Hong Kong International Airport following the activation of Terminal 2. These plans include reopening lounges with new concepts like a music hall and wellness areas, as well as bidding for a ‘short-stay’ Aerotel facility featuring over 90 rooms.
Following these developments, the group officially entered the Thai market by opening two new facilities at Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi Airport. These include a standard Plaza Premium Lounge in Concourse G, covering 578 square meters with a capacity for 98 guests, and a premium Plaza Premium First lounge for up to 51 guests. Both Thai facilities operate 24 hours a day.
The group is further extending its global footprint into Brazil, identifying the country as one of its “three most important markets.” This expansion includes the announcement of a new VIP lounge at Belo Horizonte’s Confins International Airport, designed to provide high-end amenities such as fast Wi-Fi, diverse dining, and dedicated rest areas.
