Poderosas do Cerrado second season release

Overview

The doc-reality series ‘Poderosas do Cerrado’ is returning for a second season, focusing on the lives and careers of six influential women in Brazil's Central-West region. The program explores the intersection of business, music, agribusiness, and luxury lifestyle.

Participants include agribusiness heir Cati Reis, musical duo Day Camargo and Lara Menezes, jeweler Lara Prado, entrepreneur Karine Carrijo, and influencer Margareth Serrão. Serrão, mother of digital influencer Virginia Fonseca, stated her intention to share her personal journey and aim to “inspire women over the age of 60 to pursue new possibilities and live fully.”

Produced by BOXFISH, the new season is scheduled to premiere on Globoplay on October 21 for Premium subscribers, with subsequent releases through November 4. The series is also set to debut on the GNT channel on October 22, airing weekly on Mondays and Thursdays. The production aims to showcase the economic, technological, and cultural development of Goiás, specifically highlighting the luxury market in Goiânia to challenge regional stereotypes.
