Poland has taken steps to strengthen its domestic and international security frameworks through enhanced cooperation in cybersecurity. Domestically, the Central Bureau for Combating Cybercrime (CBZC) and the Command of the Cyber Defense Forces Component (DK WOC) signed an indefinite agreement to improve the prevention, identification, and combatting of online criminal activity. This partnership involves exchanging information on threats and vulnerabilities, conducting joint forensic analyses, and implementing joint training exercises. On the international stage, Poland and India are expanding their strategic partnership. Following a visit by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, officials met in Warsaw to review a bilateral Action Plan. This cooperation extends beyond cybersecurity to include space technology, critical minerals, clean coal, and artificial intelligence, alongside growing academic and youth exchange programs. Recent high-level discussions between Indian External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar and Polish Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski have furthered this momentum. The ministers reviewed the progress of the Joint Action Plan 2024-28, focusing on emerging cooperation in defense industries, energy security, and the exchange of classified information. Economic objectives have also been highlighted, with both nations working toward a bilateral trade target of USD 10 billion, an increase from the USD 6.3 billion achieved previously. Geopolitically, the two countries discussed the security situations in Europe and the Middle East, the conflict in Ukraine, and potential synergies between the India–Middle East–Europe Economic Corridor (IMEC) and the Three Seas Initiative.
