Poland September 2026 running events

In July 2026 Poland announced a series of road‑running competitions slated for September. The 16th Bieg Przemysława in Przemków opened registration early, offering 5 km, 10 km and 15 km distances, a senior “Friday” march, a 5 km Nordic‑walking option, a 10 km Fire‑Service race and children’s categories. A separate event, the Bieg Zdobywców Modyni in Młyńczysky, listed a 35 km “6 Peaks” challenge, a 17 km loop, an 8.5 km race and a Nordic‑walking version, also with children’s categories.

Later in the month the Polish Athletics Federation detailed its championship programme. The Open Men’s 5 km national title will be contested in Warsaw on 5 September as part of the Praska 5K Run, finishing at the PGE Narodowy stadium. The Masters Athletics Championships will be held in Bydgoszcz from 31 July to 2 August, drawing 715 participants and serving as final preparation for the World Masters Championships in Daegu, South Korea. These announcements expand the September running calendar from regional races to national championship events, illustrating a coordinated effort to promote distance running across multiple Polish cities.
