Police investigations and arrests in Andorra and Spain

Overview

In Andorra, police arrested two non-resident men for crimes against public service following an anti-fraud operation. The suspects attempted to flee after being observed loading tobacco into a French-registered vehicle. Authorities recovered 1,300 packs of tobacco, though the incident is being treated as an administrative infraction because the value is below the criminal threshold.

In Spain, the National Police arrested a third suspect related to the fatal stabbing of a 19-year-old in Palma’s Son Gotleu neighborhood. Investigators allege this individual helped restrain the victim during a dispute on September 13. The primary assailant is currently held in a juvenile center.
